Adobe Target/Launch Developer

Prudential Digital Marketing Technology Group is seeking a Senior Adobe Target/Launch developer who has the right mix of technical with passion for managing the dynamics of a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be responsible to work with Business, DevOps and Architecture teams to successfully deliver complex cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product management, marketing, analytics team and fellow technologists to design, develop and deliver frictionless multi-channel experiences and end to end performance measurement
• Provide technical guidance and be a technical mentor to SCRUM team. Lead the pre-sprint technical design and grooming activities

• Drive user story analysis, elaboration and design. Thrives to ensure code quality is high with supporting unit test and automation.

• Employ industry best practices to deliver world-class solutions. Ensure developed solutions remain compliant with all applicable Prudential standards
• Enable change, help accelerate innovation and ensure customer delight
• Drive software development activities to meet schedules and timelines
• Research problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions to the problems
• Ensure that software standards and quality targets are met
• Deliver against the website optimization and customized experience strategies across the website and other touch points
• Configure, administer, and operate Adobe Target to build multi-channel campaigns

Requirement:

• Experience developing mission critical web and server applications in agile environment
• Possess excellent software architecture, design and problem-solving skills
• Experience with agile development methodologies and TDD
• 3 years’ experience with Adobe Target and Adobe Launch directly driving A/B/multivariant testing and site personalization efforts
• 2 years’ experience with Adobe Analytics capturing applications events and building reports.
• Knowledge of backend technologies including Java, J2EE, Tomcat, REST is desirable
• 3 years’ experience with client-side technologies including JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, HTL, CSS3, SASS, Jasmine, Karma, JSON, REST, TypeScript, NPM, Bower
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade technical solutions for the cloud
• 2 years’ experience with building omni-channel personalization implementation.
• Extremely proficient in using one of the IDEs like Eclipse, Webstorm, IntelliJ, Microsoft Visual Studio or Netbeans
• Working experience with Adobe Analytics, AEP & AEM
• Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Artifactory, SonarQube, Selenium, Jenkins is highly desirable
• Experience with monitoring and logging techniques and tools such as CloudWatch, Nagios, Splunk and Dynatrace etc
• Adobe Target Certification preferred

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $129,900.00 to $193,300.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
