Responsibilities:
- Proactively collaborates with External Wholesalers to uncover, develop, and close life insurance opportunities.
- Build relationships and create win-win outcomes for your business partners and their respective clients
- Presents sales concepts via phone or in person –
- Partner with other business units, including Case Management, Marketing, and Advanced Marketing to drive sales
- Work with diverse teams on challenging projects such as system enhancements, standard operating procedures, and product and marketing solutions
- Run Prudential Life Insurance illustrations and explain and educate on the solutions
Qualifications:
- Ability to drive results and increase presence and market share in your assigned territory
- Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships
- Appetite for understanding market trends impacting business
- Good knowledge of Life Insurance Products
- Solid understanding of Compliance policies and practices
- Excellent written, oral communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels in the organization
- Exceptional time management skills and detail orientation
- Enthusiastic team player and self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize work in a fast-paced sales environment
- Proficient computer and keyboarding skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task between several computer applications while effectively managing a conversation
- Strong organizational skills and able to stay abreast of rapidly changing information
- Ability and willingness to deal with change and ambiguity
- Must exercise sound judgment, discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
- FINRA SIE and Series 6/7 registration or ability to obtain within 180 days from date of hire
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of related experience in the life insurance industry, brokerage or financial services sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated experience with illustration software
- Industry designations, including CLU, CHFC, and CFP
Note:
Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The base salary for this role is $55,000 applicable sales commissions and/or bonuses. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement
