As a Salesforce.com Business Analyst in the Sales Technology Group that supports the Sales and Distribution organizations for both Retirement Solutions & Individual Life, you will serve as a primary point of contact for our business stakeholders and partners, understanding their needs and partnering with the appropriate groups to deliver best in class solutions. You will also support new Salesforce.com projects, enhancements and maintenance activities derived from a diverse set of stakeholders, including Sales & Distribution, Training, Business Intelligence, Marketing and Technology. You must have a passion for understanding user needs and the critical business processes that drive our sales team while also having demonstrated the ability to translate these needs into business capabilities and features. You must also have experience with implementing new Salesforce.com capabilities with a focus on minimizing disruption while also driving user adoption of this critical sales enabler. In partnership with key business groups, you will support the daily activities required to maintain and grow our Salesforce.com capabilities. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment requiring you to perform effectively both as an individual contributor and as part of a team.
Core functional responsibilities include:
• Understand and gather complex business needs from a diverse set of stakeholders and effectively compile and document these into business features necessary for systems design, development and implementation
• Serve as Sales & Distribution subject matter expert and administrator for Salesforce.com
• Partner with Training and Business Intelligence team(s) to increase visibility of CRM data, improve sales processes & drive user adoption.
• Provide day-to-day support to our rapidly growing pool of almost 500 users on incidents, work with the technical teams on problem resolution
• Develop and execute detailed communication and implementation plans to ensure minimal disruption
• Effectively radiate information to business stakeholders
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance sales and marketing productivity by evaluating current state and recommending process improvements
Qualifications:
• 3 years of Salesforce.com administrator experience required
• Ability to solve business challenges leveraging Salesforce.com capabilities.
• Knowledge of Sales and Distribution a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively with IT and business colleagues at all levels of the organization
• In-depth knowledge of requirements development, information systems, and business process design
• Demonstrated ability to deliver quality results with minimal direction
• Ability to forge relationships, collaborate and work well as a team player
• Strong facilitation, presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Experience working on project teams and a solid understanding of the typical roles and responsibilities (Agile or Waterfall)
• Excellent attention to detail while also having the ability to understands the big picture
• Strong data management and analytical skills
• Time management and organizational skills
Preferred Experience and Education
• CRM Admin certification
• Bachelor's degree in related field, specialized training, certification or equivalent work experience
