Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scale Operator to join our team. As a Scale Operator, you will be responsible for accurately weighing and recording incoming and outgoing materials. Your attention to detail and strong administrative skills will contribute to the smooth operation of our facility.
Duties:
- Operate scales to accurately weigh incoming and outgoing materials
- Record weights and other relevant information in a computerized system
- Ensure that all materials are properly labeled and tracked
- Communicate with drivers and other personnel to coordinate the movement of materials
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience as a front desk receptionist, or in a similar administrative role is preferred
- Ability to transcribe information accurately and efficiently
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute
Pre-employment UA and random drug testing required.
