Overview:
The Regional Distribution Center Supervisor will be responsible for leading associates at Prysmian Group’s largest North American Distribution Center and will report directly to the Facility Manager. This position will oversee the Team Leads and the employees within the various departments. The RDC Coordinator is responsible for achieving all productivity, quality, service, and cost objectives identified for the facility. They will also be responsible for ensuring all health, safety, and environmental standards are met, executing training plans for hourly associates, and leading continuous improvement projects.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- You will work to achieve the daily, weekly, and monthly productivity and service goals.
- Work to improve operator flexibility in work assignments and strive to continually reduce labor and material costs.
- Drive continuous improvement through appropriate coaching, training and process improvement initiatives.
- You will be responsible for the coordination and control of the handling, storage, and flow of material through the warehouse.
- You will collaborate with HR to interview, hire, train, and develop incoming associates.
- You will work with the Inside Sales Associates at our Corporate Office to ensure customer orders are shipped according to customer requirements and due dates.
- You will work with Quality Managers from other facilities to minimize escapes of non-conforming product and to enhance process controls and workmanship to meet customer quality requirements.
- You will supervise the quality and inventory control functions within the facility.
- You will determine appropriate skill sets for operators and define training schedules to maintain skill levels.
- Perform additional duties as required by the Facility.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related technical field.
- Prefer 2 - 5 years of supervisory experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment; including employee hiring and retention, performance management and employee discipline.
- Experience and knowledge of material handling equipment preferred but not required.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams collaboratively working toward common goals.
- Excellent communications skills, inter-personal skills, and time management skills.
