Rail Switching Technician
Selma, AL
Be the next key member of our Rail Switching Team as the PSC Group is now hiring! Spend your days along the rail tracks and work as a team with the engineer on the train to safely move railcars in, out and around the facility.

Work Schedule : 8 hour shifts, straight days
Pay Range : Starting at $14.50 with opportunity for advancement
Job Duties & Responsibilities :
- Examines track list to spot, separate, load and / or build railcars for shipment
- Ensures railcars are properly connected and / or are secured by setting the brake
- Separates loaded railcars that will be shipped from those that have been preloaded
- Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.
Job Qualifications
- Experience is a plus but not required, and paid on-the-job training is available
- May require a valid Driver's License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location
- 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
- Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
