PSC Metals, LLC (www.pscmetals.com), a wholly owned subsidiary of SA Recycling is one of the most experienced and largest scrap metal processors in North America, providing services for more than a century to both generators and consumers of scrap.

We are currently hiring for a General LABORER position at our Cuba, Missouri location.

We will train the right candidates, that are ready to work and want to have a career in the steel industry. We look for candidates that can move up within the company. That is why, we require all candidates to pass a preemployment drug test and background check.

DUTIES

  • The GENERAL LABORER will be responsible for performing manual labor needs within assigned work areas and acquiring knowledge of materials coming into the yard.
  • Individuals may be trained and required to operate small mobile equipment.
  • Must maintain a clean and efficient work area.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • This position requires full range of motion (i.e. bending, twisting, lifting, climbing, extension) and/or sitting, standing, walking for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work OT as necessary.
  • Individuals are exposed to all weather elements and various physical conditions.
  • Safety - PPE required includes steel toed shoes, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles.
