Job Description
PSCI has a Remote Windows Server Engineer contract role for a Delaware based client. Role will be 8 AM - 4:30 PM EST.
Top Skills Required: - Adding Windows 2012—2019 servers to the domain through Active Directory (AD).
Other Requirements:
- Windows 2019 Server Build and optimization skills
- TCP/IP and DNS configuration
- Troubleshooting skills with Windows and Networking issues
- Active Directory to join servers to a domain
- Familiar with TCP and DNS configurations
- Familiar with virtualization technologies VMware
- Install and configure operating systems and routinely test installed software for glitch detection and other issues
- Making use of regedit, gpedit, and secpol consoles to make any necessary local setting changes
- Talk with customers and understand their needs, communicating the requirements and timeline for their system plans. While working with a team to ensure projects are completed effectively and efficiently.
- IIS installation and configuration; Application / Server Migration; Virtual and physical server builds
- Creating and modifying network diagrams
- Creating knowledge base content and creating server build procedures
- Adding Windows 2012—2019 servers to the domain through Active Directory (AD).
- Working with Fire Wall rules and being able to submit request as needed for servers
- Microsoft Office Suite including Visio used for Network Diagrams
Desired skills (but not required): Familiarity with Ansible Tower and GitHub
