This commercial real estate is looking for a Staff Accountant  to perform accounting and support functions for private capital entities, including joint ventures, that invest in real estate.

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

·  Preparing account reconciliations, debt compliance, and financial reporting for private capital entities and the underlying properties
·  Assisting in the annual external audits of the private capital entities and the underlying properties
·  Supporting various ad-hoc financial analyses and other projects
·  Maintaining general ledgers by proposing and posting journal entries for all month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting close processes

Staff Accountant Qualifications:

·  1 - 3 years of accounting experience; CPA is preferred
·  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
·  Experience with private real estate funds and/or the private equity industry is preferred
·  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Yardi
