Tax Professional - Hiring Immediately ($100,000 Bonus)

This client manages private investment funds that serve endowments, foundations, pension funds, and other institutional and high-net-worth investors. Approximately 150 employees operate from our office located in Boston’s historic Back Bay. 

They are looking for someone coming out of public tax - this person will be doing heavy partnership work.

Tax Professional Responsibilities:

• Assessing and evaluating reporting processes and systems to ensure they are efficient and effective. Work with internal technical resources to enhance existing processes and develop new systems as required.
• Additional responsibilities may include researching and implementing operational improvements, ad hoc analysis, and special projects.
  
• Documenting tax and accounting policies and procedures.
• Preparing the month-end close process and production of reconciliations related to balance sheet and income statement accounts.

Tax Professional Qualifications:

• BA degree in accounting or finance. CPA, MST, or working towards a CPA or MST preferred.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of financial services experience with exposure to the taxation of financial products and hedge/mutual funds or investment companies preferred.
• Knowledge of fixed-income securities, derivatives, and complex financial instruments.
• Proficient with software, including advanced MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
