A day in the life of a School based Psychologist
As a Psychologist, you deliver high-quality and dynamic therapy across educational settings. You evaluate children across grade bands in order to obtain the information necessary for intervention planning, consultation, and to develop instructional plans that help meet the functional and educational needs of each child served. The children we serve face a variety of developmental, educational, and speech and language challenges they are working to overcome. You use your psychologist expertise to improve the lives of children in ways that are enjoyable and rewarding!
What is Required to be a Psychologist at PSI
As someone working in a school environment, we are looking for candidates with experience working with a pediatric population. A Master's degree is required. However, the area of study can be flexible. Successful applicants will have a masters in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, school psychology or a closely related field. Position needs vary widely among schools. We find the school that needs YOUR skills.
