Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable at installing wire labels and device tags
- Able to read and understand tape measures (Metric and Standard)
- Able to read and identify colors on wires
- Confident working with hand tools and all power tools with little guidance
- Knowledgeable at reading Mechanical and Electrical drawings.
- Understand wire gauges, ampacities, and their uses.
- Limited understanding of what a PLC, VFD, Circuit breakers etc. are and what their roles are in the control system.
- Understand and know the differences between type ratings of enclosures
- Able to work with different styles of wire labels and device tags
- Good Attitude and work ethics
- Have a Mechanical aptitude
- Understand and comprehend tasks presented
- Working overtime as required
- Works well with others and in a team setting
- Basic computer skills
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Understanding of ISO documents
- Competent Knowledge of Common Shop standards is required
- Frequently meets or beats the budgeted hours
Education and/or Experience:
- High School or GED or equivalent
- Industry experience in electro-mechanical components. Demonstrated project skills and experience.
