Construction Project Manager – Federal Division
PSI has an immediate opening for a Construction Project Manager for our Federal Division with Federal and Commercial construction experience to manage multiple projects from preconstruction meetings to closeout documents. The position will be based out of our Dayton, OH Office.

Responsibilities:
- Set up the schedule of values
- Own and manage all aspects of the projects and ensure projects come in on time and within budgets, while managing the schedule
- Handle submittals and keeps submittal registries up to date
- Develop and update project schedules, safety and quality control plans, environmental controls and documents
- Develop proper RFI’s
- Estimate for change orders
- Write and manage change orders
- Assist with scope reviews
- Write and buyout contracts
- Manage closeout documents
- Build strong and long-lasting relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors and our superintendents/QC Managers/SSHO
- Able to lead and manage weekly project update meetings with corporate and client key stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 15 years’ construction experience with Commercial, Federal or Public projects
- 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager for Commercial, Federal or Public projects between $5M and $50 M
- 3 years’ experience as a Project Manager or Superintendent on Federal/Corps of Engineers (USACE) or NAVFAC/VA/Large Commercial or Public projects
- Experience managing 3 projects at the same time as a Project Manager
- Ability to travel as necessary for the nationwide federal projects
- Excellent Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, etc.)
- 10 years’ experience in Federal construction working under FARs, DFARs, and VAARs, preferred
- Field Experience preferred
- OSHA 30 certification current
- USACE CQM current or able to get within 90 days of hire
- Experience writing Quality Control and Safety plans, as well as Project Plans for proposals preferred
- Primavera P6 and MS Project scheduling experience preferred
- The Construction Project Manager will be required to have a valid driver’s license and to pass a background check and drug screen
