Position(s) Required : Specialist-Level I

Designated Work Location : 40 North Pearl St

The assignments Onsite / Offsite regulations are the NYS hybrid model, which is out of 10 business days, the applicant is to be onsite 5 business days.

It usually works out where one week you work onsite 3 days and the next week you work onsite 2 days and so on.

Position Anticipated Start Date : 6 / 29 / 2024

Anticipated Duration of the Engagement : 32 months (6 / 29 / 2024 - NaN / NaN / 1280)

Interview Format : Remote (Teams, WebEx, etc.)

Mandatory Qualification :

• Level I- More than one (1) but less than four (4) years' experience as a Specialist
• Two (2) or more years of experience in UI / UX experience design on full life cycle of design deliverables (wireframes, mockups, journeymaps, prototypes, story boards, user surveys).
• Two (2) or more years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Figma.

Desirable Qualifications :

• Experience with User research, user modeling and usability testing.
• Experience with CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in human-computer interaction or design related field.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Duties include, but are not limited to, the following :
• Consulting with stakeholders to understand business goals
• Planning and conducting user research, as well as explaining user research results to internal and external stakeholders.
• Developing user models and scenarios
• Creating wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps and screen flows
• Creating and iterating on prototypes
• Conducting usability testing and analyzing user feedback and activity, and iterating to improve the user experience
• Assisting with content development
• Other duties as assigned

How many candidates will be interviewed : - IES will interview the top five highest scoring candidates who are susceptible to award.

In this instance IES will only interview the top 5 candidates based on technical and cost evaluations. The top five will not be altered regardless of post interview scoring.
