About being our Survey Intern
As a Survey Intern, you will utilize your skills to contribute to the execution and delivery of survey projects while working in a team-oriented setting and interacting with coworkers.
Responsibility Highlights for our Survey Intern
- This internship position will mostly be office-oriented, but could include field work, if needed
- May require learning new software to process survey field data and data entry
- Perform COGO calculations
- Prepare CAD drawings
- Research, record deed and map analysis
- Filing of field notes and other survey-related tasks
Minimum Qualifications for our Survey Intern
- Seeking a 3rd or 4th year student, majoring in Engineering or Surveying from an accredited university
- Must have successfully passed Introductory and Advanced Plane Surveying courses, as well as computer-aided drafting fundamental coursework
- Familiar with AutoCAD, preferably Civil3D and/or MicroStation
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
