Role:- Linux Admin - SUSE Linux
Location: -Waukesha, WI(Onsite)
Responsibilities: -
- Job duties: Good Linux Administration skills, especially SUSE Linux
- Experience in keeping the OS up to date.
- Excellent Python scripting skills for Automation of key jobs /tools to streamline administrative tasks.
- System Installation and Configuration:
- Installing, configuring, and managing SUSE Linux systems.
- This includes setting up user accounts, managing permissions, and writing scripts as needed.
- System Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Monitoring system performance to ensure the availability and reliability of server infrastructure.
- This also involves managing system backups, updates, and patching.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving hardware and software issues to maintain system stability
- Security Management: Ensuring system security by conducting routine security audits and implementing necessary security measures.
- Network Administration: Managing network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Automation and Scripting: Using shell scripting and automation tools to streamline administrative tasks.
- Activities related to reducing dependencies on OS while Application installation
