Position Summary:
Responsible for reviewing and completing warranty claims. This includes preparing, recording, reconciling warranty claims and submitting them to the appropriate party.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation and verifying criteria required by factory or distributor.
- Keeps abreast of all factory recalls and announcements.
- Arranges for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor and resubmits all rejected claims promptly.
- Reconcile all warranty receivables and works with the accounting department to obtain payments.
- Maintains all service and customer records as required by the warrantor.
- Works with department managers to facilitate proper warranty procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
