About Us: PGS (PsychoGeriatric Services) is a multi-disciplinary behavioral health practice with nearly 30 years of dedicated service. We specialize in delivering mental health services to residents of long-term care facilities, both in-person and through telehealth. Our diverse and expanding team of psychiatrists, psychotherapists, and nurse practitioners provides quality care to over 300 facilities in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia.
Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our team and provide psychotherapy services at our partner facilities in Mitchellville, MD. This role offers an opportunity for meaningful, flexible, and autonomous work while making a significant impact on the lives of seniors in our community. Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and family counseling.
- Offer on-site assistance at nursing homes, assisted care, and similar facilities.
- Consult with facility staff to coordinate care.
- Deliver periodic educational talks.
- Adhere to established regulations, policies, and procedures while exercising initiative and independent judgment.
