PsychPros is a nationally recognized staffing and recruiting firm dedicated to behavioral health care. We are currently recruiting for a Substance Use Disorder Professional or Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee to work full-time in Yakima, WA.

Qualifications-
  • High school degree is required, Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Must possess the SUDP/SUDPT credential
  • Have no history of alcohol or other drug misuses for a period of 2 years immediately prior to the time of employment as a Substance Use Disorder Professional, and no misuse of alcohol or other drugs while employed

Responsibilities-
  • Provide individual and group counseling to individuals requiring assistance in dealing with substance use disorder
  • Effectively communicate clients’ needs, progress, problems, and recommendations to treatment teams and various agencies
  • Understand and implement the essential elements of the ASAM assessment, placement process, objectives of individualized treatment planning as directed by ASAM criteria, and the essential elements of the ASAM continuous stay criteria
  • Document individual and group sessions and conduct case reviews
