- Training from a corporate and local level (at least 3 full days training with an established o ce coordinator in person in addition to online / distance learning)
- Provided EMR/online training, paper instruction binder (for quick reference), defined job description, hands on rehabilitation tech skills with PT or PTA
- Learn basic rehabilitation tech skills with some direct patient interaction to make the workday enjoyable and e ect positive health changes for clients
- E cient, positive communication skills
- Not required but nice to have experience with Google Drive and eClinicalWorks EMR or any EMR
- Minimum GED or High School Graduation
- If currently in school, communicate with Lynx to determine if the providers can accommodate your college schedule
O ce Coordinator / Rehab Tech Daily Duties:
1. Answer phone calls
2. Arrive 10 minutes before first scheduled appointment
3. Schedule physical therapy patients (Initial Evaluations / Follow ups) a. Call new patient Evaluations to confirm (5 days before and 2 days before if automated EMR system is down)
4. Check patients in / Schedule upon check out (or upon arrival depending on time frame)
5. Take Correct copays/coinsurances/cash pay
6. Verify Insurance Benefits (Smaller portion of job as Lynx has an exceptionally well educated main o ce that provides assistance)

7. Weekly Clinic Tracking - requires basic organization skills to update daily visits within an Excel file and one email per week
8. Ensure folders have copies of paperwork (Paperwork provided and on a Drive) a. Patient paperwork (Have ready to go new patient documents each morning or night before that are provided on Google Drive) b. Exercise or PRE sheets in binder for easy clinician access (At least 10 copies in folders at all times) c. Organize new documents in google drive
9. Customer Service skills / positive patient interaction a. E ective, e cient communication skills with referring providers as well as clinic providers (PT/PTA)
10. Call/Fax/Email/Communicate with other medical o ces/facilities a. Organize documents within the established email, google drive and fax system
11. Scan relevant paperwork/insurance cards/license into EMR system
12. Monitor daily faxes/emails/calls for new referrals and call potential patients as soon as possible
13. Marketing calls / Activities occasionally (no more than 3 events per month)
14. Provide PT/PTA with written schedules if EMR is down and promptly respond to their clinic oriented tasks
Daily Clinic Assistance:
14. Set up and take down TENS/Stim (if PT / PTA asks)
15. Monitor business cards/supplies if getting low and order accordingly
(Laundry, TP, Paper Towels, Batteries, etc - approximately every other week)
16. Fill up Ultrasound gel bottles / Cavicide (2-3x per week)
17. Welcome patients and direct patients to their established warm up (if PT or PTA asks)
18. Pull Cups/Needles (if PT asks)
19. Run Cold Laser (if PT asks)
20. Clean o used tables and clean equipment (daily)
21. Take out trash (Daily)
22. Laundry- Defined as stocking linens under tables, taking small laundry bin to Alsco bin (Daily)
