Job Summary: 

Maintenance of the Roll Tooling for the Slitter, Mills, Hydrostatic Tester, Rotary Straighteners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Maintain Slitter knives, Chopper knives, and Slitter knife regrinding.
• Maintain Mill Roll setups, prepare for size changes, and maintain replacement parts for bearings and shafts.
• Maintain Hydrostatic Tester heads.
• Maintain Rotary Straightener, Roll conditioning, and Bearing replacement.
• Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and the ability to read equipment drawings a plus.
• Previous tooling experience a plus.

Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements: 

Education: High School or equivalent

Years of Experience:  2 - 3 years’ experience in industrial environment

• Reasoning Ability:  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Other Skills and Abilities:  Must be computer literate and able to work with programs such as Word, Excel, etc., and be able to learn and use HP programs such as e-mail, ERP system, etc.

Forklift certified, crane certified
