What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior QA Specialist position at PTC?

- Lead the development and documentation of test scenarios and cases
- Perform functional testing, data validations, and regression testing
- Contribute to the establishment of standards, best practices, and procedures for efficiency improvements in QA test design and management
- Troubleshoot defects, using web protocol tools to identify causes
- Document defects and troubleshoot findings
- Coordinate software testing process activities and implement testing best practices
- Ensure clean releases by regression testing existing functionality
- Locate and identify issues and analyze/prioritize their significance
- Ensure new functionality meets requirements of functional specifications
- Contribute in Scrum activities including Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, and Daily Scrums
- Create and maintain test cases that will be built into automation test where applicable
- Work hand-in-hand with Dev to review requirements, test, and inform cross functionally as needed
- Provide a streamlined communication between teams and provide reports in a succinct and complete manner
- Perform all aspects of quality assurance during the sprint cycles including test strategies, test case documentation, and test execution
- Work with development teams to establish/maintain test environments, including test data and automation framework
- Partner with the delivery and support teams to review and understand business requirements, assist with technical implementations, and help resolve escalated issues
- Work with tools such as JIRA and Confluence to log any bugs and test results
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Minimum 2 years CMS QA experience CMS software like Sitecore, AEM, Umbraco, Drupal, etc. (Sitecore is highly preferred)
- Technical depth to create and run test scripts that cover a wide variety of scenarios such as smoke, functional, regression, integration, usability, and performance testing but not limited to these (Selenium automation scripting experience preferred)
- Cross-browser testing experience
- Knowledge of test simulation tools (Lambda test experience preferred)
- Testing experience in an Agile development environment
- Experience with risk assessment identification and communication along with providing recommendations for reducing risk exposure
- Highly efficient in resource planning and tasks assignment
- Experienced with the full cycle of a software project: conception, development, deployment, and the continuous improvement stage
