What are the responsibilities and job description for the Expo position at Pub 1922?
The expo position is called this because you will expedite the food from the kitchen to the customers. Your job is to make sure that the food coming out of the kitchen is accurately presented, plated, and distributed according to the sequence of tickets. The expo assists both the kitchen team and the servers to make sure that our guests have an excellent dining experience.
- Previous knowledge of the menu and recipes is important
- Be able to work on your feet in hot, humid, wed and loud conditions for long periods of time.
- Be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.
- Be able to working in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Be able to safely lift lots of plates, trays of food, cases and stacks of items weighing upwards of 50 pounds regularly.
