Systems Administrator
Responsibilities:
· Be available on-site at the Krafton office in Santa Monica
· Support your home studio and manage the operations/infrastructure.
· Proactively monitor, maintain, and suggest improvements to the workstations for Krafton Employees
· Order Home studio workstations and set up machines, including domain setup, VPN setup, disk imaging for standard programs
· Provide information for workstation improvements based on individual needs and keep track of upgrade schedules, proactively seek out and suggest improvements for hardware
· Troubleshoot and provide technical support for the team for both hardware and software support (Including perforce, Jira, Slack, Outlook, etc)
· Manage the daily in/out tasks at the office
· Manage and maintain NAS backups and support (Individual drives per person, connecting to outside offices, mirroring data from other offices, etc)
· Establish and enforce policy and procedures for procurement requests
· Establish and enforce security baselines for user behavior and equipment use
· Monitor backup systems
· Continual evaluation of new software for user needs and management
· Keep all documentation for systems up to date
· Maintain critical documentation on all events and incidents
· The primary point of contact for day to day facility requests
· Manage all IT infrastructure at the home office
· Be available after hours for an on-call basis for critical infrastructure
· Participate in modern IT management techniques including KanBan, Weekly Stand-Ups, project planning, change planning, and change approval
· Manage all storage, servers, networking equipment, telecommunications, cooling, power, and redundant power at home studio
· Monitor key infrastructure and maintain reporting of key metrics for local systems.
· Workstation and hardware setup for new hires and current employees
Skills & Requirements:
· Talented troubleshooter with experience administering a Windows user environment
· Experience with networking (e.g. packet analysis, routing protocols) and network setup and monitoring including firewall and VPN configuration
· Knowledge of Linux server systems, including AWS.
· Some experience with programming and/or scripting language (e.g. Go, Python, Java, Ruby, Rust)
· Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment methodologies, chat-ops, etc.
· Knowledge of Source Control Management systems like Git and Perforce
· Perforce Edge Server Management and Replication
· Enterprise and domain-based PC Management
· Experience with Synology
· Scripting experience to mirror files across geographically distributed offices
· VPN setup and management
· Unifi / Ubiquity experience
· Interest in video games and the gaming industry
· Strong communication skills and level head under pressure
· Capable of installing and managing different PCs, equipment, etc.
· Strong Project Management and organizational skills are a must for this role
· This position will be an onsite position in Santa Monica
