Job DescriptionSummaryThe position of Postal Coordinator I ensures all mail leaves the facility in an accurate and timely manner while adhering to all company policies, procedures and safety regulations.  Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesGenerates and monitors daily schedule to ensure all scheduled jobs mail each dayMonitors Shopboard system to identify changes in Postage Forecast Report for current dayImports all maildat files into Monticello to prepare for Postal One uploading   Contacts Lettershop Coordinator about any job that is missing or has incorrect information within maildat fileUploads all maildat files into Postal One and corrects any files that fail the uploading processPrints a pdf of the Postal One “dashboard” to present to the USPS postal clerk dailyCounts and records all stamp usageReplenishes stamp and meter inventory when necessaryGenerates reports for accounting to monitor stamp, meter and co-mingler daily postage usageCloses open jobs in meters as needed.Collaborates closely with USPS BSN to investigate any postal issues that ariseTracks history of previous mailings upon request of Account Managers by accessing MailTrail for postal scans which tracks location of the mailProduces a follow up report to the 2pm daily production report to identify all jobs left in production that are to mail that dayPrepares and approves daily PMOD vs ALG analysisCreate/purchase daily PMOD labelsGenerates all necessary purchase orders for outgoing mail(ALG, co-mingler)Reports all daily drop ship information to ALG in order to receive quotes to forward on to the account teamsSends daily counts to co-minlger/account teamsEnsures we are in compliance with all USPS regulationsMaintains a clean and orderly work areaQualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED).
