WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Test and ensure QA for responsive websites, marketing email, and other digital experiences
- Execute the test scripts for a site redesign
- Review project documentation for all assigned projects to ensure that the project requirements are clearly defined
- Execute scripts across different test environments for consistency
- Execute test cases manually based on business requirements
- Apply appropriate technologies to meet the short and long-term goals of the QA team
- Work with requirements teams to define test cases and maintain traceability
- Report defects and escalate issues as needed
- Work closely with Engineering team to reproduce and debug issues
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability through self-directed task management
Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE
- 2 years of hands-on experience with quality assurance
- Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Recent experience testing responsive web experiences
- Familiarity with cross-browser testing and operating system testing, including mobile devices
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience in manual test execution
- Experience in defect management and reporting
- Experience with the following tools: Jenkins, JIRA, Charles Proxy is a plus
- Some understanding of Jenkins, GIT is a plus
- Familiarity with macOS including working in the UNIX terminal
- Familiarity with web design software (e.g., Photoshop and Sketch) is a plus
- Familiarity or knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Quick Test Professional (QTP), WinRunner, Selenium) or frameworks is a plus
- Superior communication, organization, and time management skills are a must
- Motivated team player, with very strong analytical, diagnostic and debugging skills
- Constantly seeks ways to improve processes for increased agility and quality.
