Cake Decorator

Publix Super Markets is hiring a cake decorator for your Publix at Coral Landings II in Coral Springs (Store #1121) and we’d love to meet you! We are looking for friendly, customer-service-oriented people to join our hard-working team.

Job Description:

• Provides premier customer service, including greeting customers and answering their questions.
• Ices, decorates, packages, labels, and prices products for island refrigerator cases.
• Fills customer special orders, including wedding cakes.
• Sells products by providing customers with information needed to make product-related decisions.
• Operates the Bakery department mixer.
• Follows Publix’s guidelines for cake decorators and maintains Publix’s high standards for product freshness and sanitation.
• Organizes and rotates stock in the Decorator’s freezer.
• Assists in other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Knowledge and experience in a retail, hospitality, or commercial environment as a cake decorator, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read, write, and do simple math problems.
• Ability to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
