Amazon Van Driver

PSLD is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) and contracts with Amazon to deliver Amazon packages. As a Delivery Driver for PSLD, you will enjoy the perfect mix of working independently while being part of a high-functioning, caring team!

• Great Pay: Wages start at $21.50-23.00/hr (based on experience) plus safe driving bonus (assuming 4 completed shifts per week; driver eligibility is determined on a weekly basis). High-performing drivers average $24-29 per hour with our Guaranteed Bonus Program.

A Typical Day: This is a physically-demanding job. Applicants must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in all types of weather conditions. Full-time employees work 4 days per week, 9-hour shifts (with opportunities for overtime), delivering up to 300 packages per day. Here what you can expect in a typical workday:

• Report to work on-time, approximately 9:45am
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after your route
• Load and organize your van to be efficient on your route
• Deliver packages on-time following a pre-determined route using a company-provided handheld device
• Interact positively and professionally with Amazon customers and PSLD dispatchers, management and team
• And most importantly, follow safety guidelines and practices at all times!

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be a team-player with a positive attitude!

- Safely operate a van, box truck, or tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

```Qualifications:```
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including vans, box trucks, or tractor-trailers
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately
- Physical ability to load and unload cargo as needed
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems is a plus
