Job Details:
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Pay Rate: $53-61/hr for locals, $2,092-2,380/week for travelers based on experience
- Schedule: Days - 40hrs/week - 7 am-5:30 pm - Every other weekend
- Experience: 1 years of experience
- IL Ultrasound Tech license
- Must be registered in RDMS and RVT
- Proficient with abdomen, OB/GYN. Small Parts, Procedures (para, thora, needle biopsy, aspiration) Vascular
- BLS
- Must live 50 miles from facility and provide home address for submittal

A labor and delivery nurse cares for women and their infants before, during, and after birth. A labor and delivery nurse will monitor mothers and children, provide postpartum care, and educate new mothers about the care of their newborns.
- Meeting with expectant mothers for prenatal visits and providing care for normal and problematic pregnancies.
- Teaching childbirth preparation classes.
- Providing information, guidance, and hands-on clinical care to pregnant women.
- Monitoring fetal heartbeat and length and strength of contractions during labor.
- Coaching women, assisting with any complications and administering medications during birth.
