What are the responsibilities and job description for the Developer Advocate position at Pulumi?
Do you have a passion for open source? Does the idea of helping software professionals build and deploy modern cloud software faster and more collaboratively excite you? Does working at the intersection of modern cloud infrastructure and programming languages — applying all the things we know and love about JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Go, and .NET to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Docker, and Serverless — sound like fun? Are you good at explaining concepts to other people? If you said yes to these questions, then this is the role for you!
Pulumi is looking for a passionate Developer Advocate to lead our community outreach, spreading the word about how Pulumi can help developers and operators build innovative cloud software together. - Advocate for your community internally with product, engineering, sales, and marketing, and influence the direction of Pulumi’s platform and product roadmap.
- Build and foster an external community ecosystem of influencers, meetups, and experts to amplify and extend our community reach through mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Estimated travel of 50% within the United States and internationally.
Desired Experience:
