What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Director of Sports Medicine position at Purdue University?
Job Summary
The Associate Director of Sports Medicine will work with the Senior Associate Athletics Director- Performance & Sports Medicine and team physicians with the delivery of athletic health care for intercollegiate athletes specifically with our Football Program. Additional duties will include but are not limited to:
- Providing service care given of emergency needs of student-athletes
- Providing immediate Rx rehabilitation for patients
- Providing supervision of returning student-athlete to athletic activity
- Providing appropriate documentation of care
- Executing administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine
- Maintaining appropriate medical records for student-athletes health care
- Supervising athletic training curriculum students as assigned
- Addressing other related health care problems as assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine and/or supervising team physician
What We're Looking For:
- Master's degree from CAAHEP accredited athletic training education program
- 4 years of experience in Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy and/or Athletic Training
- NATA-BOC certification and Indiana Athletic Training License, Indiana Physical Therapy License if employee has Physical Therapy Degree
- Must adhere to and comply with Purdue University, Big Ten Conference, and the NCAA applicable rules policies, procedures, rules and regulations

Salary : $70,000 - $88,600
