Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Founded in 2005, Pure Bliss Organics is an artisan producer of certified gluten free and organic granola, energy bars, and gourmet nuts. Our products are crafted by long time vegetarian chefs and are known for their healthiness, quality and flavor. We are growing fast in this post pandemic marketplace, and are seeking enthusiastic, intelligent people who want to grow with the company. We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Duties:

- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming materials
- Prepare items for shipment by verifying product information, quantity, and quality
- Utilize Quick Books for inventory and invoicing
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, RF scanners, and reach trucks
- Maintain organized storage areas for efficient inventory management
- Collaborate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries
- Perform order fulfillment duties accurately and efficiently

- Able to wear multiple hats. For example, jumping in to help production with packaging products in order to meet order deadlines.

-Quality Assurance: a) Send a monthly sample to the lab according to standards. b) Conduct quality checks on outgoing orders to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with quality standards.
-Documentation: Maintain detailed records of shipments in shipping log. Ensure that all required documentation is completed accurately and filed appropriately for reference.
-Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to shipping and transportation.
-Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries regarding shipping status, tracking information, and order-related issues.

-Collaborate with customer service representatives to resolve any shipping-related concerns or complaints. Maintain documentation of shipping mistakes and corrective actions. Send Return labels if necessary.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for inventory counts and order verification
- Familiarity with Quick Books is a plus.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, RF scanners, and reach trucks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording information
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and external partners.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
