Owns, serves and is responsible for being a functional expert in assigned work cell, while effectively and efficiently leading, communicating, coaching, training, and motivating, individuals and the cell team to meet and/or exceed day-to-day safety, quality, efficiency, and utilization objectives. Assists leadership to ensure safe, productive, efficient, timely, and accurate performance while actively contributing to providing a safe, fun environment. Actively monitors and clears the DC Outbound Monitor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:1. Directs and executes day-to-day work assignments for cell team to meet and exceed department objectives. (daily)2. Supports and executes day-to-day work assignments consistent with team needs and schedules. (daily)3. Leads, motivates, coaches, communicates, and mentors coworkers, potentially across more than one shift. (daily)4. Expedite and follow up on any areas/operations in process to ensure timely completion of tasks5. Prepare orders to be packaged and/or complete for shipment6. Assist with prioritizing tasks to speed the completion of an order(s)7. Ensure task priorities are correct to meet the daily shipping schedule8. Revise and update lead time matrixes9. Identify efficiency opportunities and drive the implementation10. Run and provide reports as needed11. Coordinate operational activities to expedite order completion12. Performs core process duties 75% of time, order picking, replenishment, freight line, assigning of orders to the floor etc. (daily)13. Develops and supports consistent training to efficiently drive processes and exceed goals. (weekly)14. Assists in projects to drive continuous improvement. (daily)15. Assists supervisor/leads and other coworkers as needed.16. Safely, accurately and efficiently performs any other duties as assigned. Required Experience1. Leadership and organizational skills.2.
