Position Summary:
The Patient Access Coordinator performs specific functions requiring specialized education or training, such as a basic understanding of medical billing, and patient advocacy and drug replacement programs that enhance or replace charity care. The position handles inquiries from customers regarding any aspect of services received or status of an account and applies outstanding customer service skills on a daily basis. This position also requires daily outreach to referring medical offices and hospitals to foster relationships with these offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Works passionately to deliver a first class experience for both patients who come to Pure Infusion Suites, and the referring offices who send those patients.
- Maintains a first class attitude, and be positive by nature.
- Works with our central intake team to Pre-register patients.
- Has the ability to walk a patient and referring office through the process of coming to PURE, highlighting the benefits to both the patient and the referring practice.
- Interacts exceptionally well with the referring practices who will be sending patients to our clinic.
- Helps build relationships with these practices with our local sales rep.
- Ensures patients are having a great experience while at PURE. Facilitates positive reviews from patients.
- Handles all scheduling and appointments with patients.
- You must be a problem solver, and someone who actively works well with others in the organization.
- Enroll patients in co-pay assistance programs as necessary.

Qualifications
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Patient care or customer services experience preferred
- Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinic operations
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
- Ability to collaborate with others
Education/Licensure/Technical Requirements.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Works comfortably in software like a PMS or EMR to track information, schedule and make notes.
- Ability to meet U.S. employment and eligibility requirements
Salary : $18 - $22
