Your mission coming into work every day will be to deliver a phenomenal service experience to every customer! On a daily basis, you will be using your up-beat and solution-based attitude to schedule our customers through phone, or email. You will be communicating with your team members and aid in projects where assistance is needed. Most importantly, the Permit Coordinator is responsible for preparing plumbing permits, as well as coordinating the efficient submittal, approval, and retrieval from local jurisdictions.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries (phone, email, online or chat)
- Obtain documents from Technicians and Installers to facilitate the permit application proces
- Applying for permits with the respective municipalities
- Drawing schematics and ability to read blueprints
- Compiling, updating, and maintaining company files relating to site plans, approvals, licenses and permit
- Coordinating with city and county officials/municipalities
- Maintaining and updating spreadsheets
- Provide product and service information to customers
- Research, identify, and resolve customer permitting issues
- Work closely with the municipalities on the status of permits and ensure they are processed in a timely manner
- Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary
- Perform routine tasks and additional projects assigned
- Work independently and in a team environment
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support
Qualification and Skills
- 1 or more years of experience providing exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of construction and/or plumbing preferred
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Friendly, patient, and empathetic demeanor when dealing with inspectors and customers
- Confident using computers and software
- Thorough and Detail Oriented
