What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Coordinator II position at Purem Novi Inc?
Objective of the Position: This position provides oversight to the day to day activities of the finance team at each site/plant and ensures the companies finance function is organized and efficient and produces accurate financial and management accounts. This is as corporate position.
Essential Accountabilities:
The position incumbent ensures, that
- Management Reporting to include:
- Creates and drives the transformation roadmap measures according to Purem strategy for BU Americas. Ensure alignment with Director BUAM TO and Global Transformation Office. Ensure proper execution of transformation.
- Management & coordination of transformation projects (FIVE, STEP, Make vs Buy...etc.) Support and chase gap closure in order to ensure target achievements. Tracking and reporting. Preparation of top management presentations (Advisory Board, ECE, Group TO, lenders)
- Identify and support execution of regional value analysis, value engineering, and cost reduction initiatives to deliver cost reduction and margin improvement. Includes target setting, idea generation, project leadership of initiatives, analysis and reporting and escalation/management of off-track initiatives.
- Analysis and evaluation of purchased parts, assemblies or tools, estimate potentials and perform in conjunction with the responsible commodity department value analysis at supplier sites. Analyze product designs and suggest design optimization to reduce cost and complexity without impacting product performance and within customer specifications.
- Conduct time studies to be able to provide alternative solutions (i.e. work-load balance, machine balance, layout re-arrangement)
Requirement Profile:
Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Industrial Engineering, Finance, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience and in-depth expertise in various specialist areas (Finance/Controlling, Manufacturing/Operations, Continuous Improvement/Engineering (i.e. VAVE), Purchasing, Treasury, Corporate Restructuring)
- - Professional experience in the automotive industry or other technology-driven industries (mechanical/industrial engineering, aviation etc.) as well as in the areas of corporate transformation, turnaround management, profit optimization.
- Strong analytical skills and work ethic (self driven/motivated). Must be able to synthesize complex or diverse information; collect and research data; use intuition an experience to complement data.
- Business acumen - Understands financial business implications of decisions.
- Ability to moderate/lead workshops/large groups and present in front of an audience. Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
