Description

As a PURIS Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for providing expertise and leadership to the maintenance staff while ensuring the safe maintenance, repair or replacement of plant assets. Your role will also be responsible for driving continuous improvement of plant operations to enable efficient, high-quality, food safe production of our products.

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for asset health and must be able to abide by PURIS’ SOPs, SSOPs, and Quality Standards at all times. Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Review reliability records for improving plant uptime
  • Responsible for building the plant Asset criticality along with Asset Maintenance Strategies
  • Assists in performance of maintenance tasks as needed
  • Lead / coordinate resources for capital projects as necessary
  • Track cost of capital projects and deliver on budget.
  • Bring energy, professionalism and integrity to colleagues
  • Provide overall plant Maintenance leadership and guidance
  • Responsible for ensuring proper training and employee skills development
  • Utilize CMMS for tracking parts, work orders, and work performed
  • Ensure plant predictive and preventative maintenance is completed as scheduled
  • Maintains plant infrastructure and utilities(water, gas, electrical)
  • Manage spare parts inventory
  • Train operators on equipment upkeep
  • Perform other tasks as required.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • 5 years directing and managing a maintenance program
  • Experience managing outside contractors
  • Strong electrical & mechanical troubleshooting skills. Welding/Fabrication is a plus
  • Knowledge in VFD’s, pumps & motors, pneumatic conveying, grain handling
  • Computer literacy with experience in CMMS programs
