Job Summary

Purisolve Corporation is seeking a JAVA Developer to develop and refine JAVA application code, in support of our government client.  This position is remote/telework.

General and Technical Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder due to Government contract stipulations.
• Active IRS MBI security clearance is required for work on contract.  If a candidate does not have an MBI, one will need to be obtained.
• A minimum of 3 – 8* years collectively developing applications in JAVA.
• Skillsets should include:
  • Hibernate
  • JAVA on the mainframe
  • Experience with JSON and Annotation
  • Prior experience working on Agile teams.
  • Spring Batch (experience with scaling would be a plus)
  • IRS/IMF/CADE 2 experience preferred
• *A bachelor's degree or above is preferred. More experience is required for non-degreed candidates.

Responsibilities:

The employee shall apply JAVA expertise to perform the following, in support of the Customer Account Data Engine 2 (CADE 2) Individual Tax Processing Engine (ITPE) project within the IRS. 

• Work with ALC developers to convert legacy code from ALC to JAVA.
• Develop modernized code in JAVA.
• Document existing logic.
• Work in agile team to modernize existing systems.
