The Role:
The core mission of the Digital Marketing Manager is to develop, implement and manage marketing campaigns that promote Purple Communication’s products and services. You will have a major role in enhancing brand awareness, driving traffic, and acquiring leads for Purple Communications. A huge part of this role is to evaluate and stay on top of new, innovative digital marketing strategies, processes, and analytics.
Digital Marketing Manager Job Responsibilities
Social Media:
- Manage and monitor social media ad campaigns to drive awareness and grow the audience.
- Drive the test design and strategy for all direct response acquisition.
- Maintain and update company email campaigns and automations, social media accounts, CRM management, and any other online presence that represents the company
- Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
- Build Company best practices across our digital marketing and social channels.
Communication:
- Keeps current on project status; makes sure people are aware of project status and what they need to do to keep things moving; elevates project concerns to senior levels of leadership when appropriate
- Collaborate with search and cross-functional teams, design, execute best-in-class paid search campaigns, utilize large capital investment made in this arena.
- Collaborate with internal and external advertising, creative, content, technical partners to ensure cohesive customer experience and optimal marketing program.
- Continuously communicate with colleagues and customers to obtain feedback, suggest/implement any improvements to marketing strategy
- Collaborate with the Sr Director of Sales Operations and Digital Marketing to create and maintain a highly effective social and engagement calendar, including an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
- Collaborate with the Sr Director of Sales Operations and Digital Marketing to create campaign talking points, social media toolkits, and other communication strategy documents to support customer engagement teams.
Reporting:
- Measure and report on the success of campaigns & optimize approaches based on real-time analytics and data; analyze program effectiveness and direct department strategies to improve overall results
- Design and implement test frameworks that employ a test and control methodology to measure the impact on campaign response and program ROI.
- Measure and report performance of digital marketing campaigns, assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
Planning:
- Improve marketing effectiveness by identifying opportunities through effective audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and processes
- Plan, implement and evaluate all digital marketing campaigns and strategies, including but not limited to video content, email blasts, web, SEO/SEM, social media, and display advertising
Event Marketing:
- Create plans and coordinate strategies, timing, and communications regarding the creation and follow up of leads for large events
- Assist with event set up
Digital Marketing Manager Qualifications/Skills:
- Passion for social media
- Awareness of Deaf Culture, ASL, and communication styles preferred
- 2 years of results-oriented digital marketing driving customer growth and site traffic
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities – this means pulling data from disparate sources into Excel and turning data into actionable information
- Expertise in multiple social media platforms (i.e., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter) and associated management tools and analytics
- In-depth understanding of SEO, keyword research, Google Ads and Analytics, Sprout Social
- Detail-oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
- Experience with Salesforce, Pardot HTML, and CSS Coding preferred
- Excellent written communication skills
- BS degree in Marketing, New media or relevant field perferred
Work environment:
Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time:

- Keyboarding (40-60%)
- Viewing computer monitor, videophone, and cell phone requiring close vision (40-60%)
- Lifting computers and other equipment.
- Position may require some travel.
