Job Description
Role: Google Cloud Platform Architect
Type of Hire: Contract
Location: Richardson, TX or Buffalo Grove, IL
Required Experience: 8 Years.
- Background in Cloud Security Alliance, NIST, ISO Controls as they pertain to cloud security.
- Experience with Managing/Testing and Deploying Google Cloud Constraints
- Experience with Google Command Center
- Experience with Google Roles and Permissions, Authentication, Workload Identity Federation
- Experience with Cloud Composer, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, BigQuery, VPCs, Subnets and Private Connections
- Experience with VPC Service Perimeters
- Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer Certification or Similar
- Experience Enforcing Automated and Custom Controls in cloud.
- Experience operationalizing and enforcing general cloud security controls.
- CCSP or CCSK, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC – good to have.
- Strong Software Development experience with demonstrable proficiency in one or more languages – Python(preferred), Java, PowerShell, NodeJS, AngularJS, etc.
- Working knowledge of infrastructure concepts and administration (Linux or Windows, DNS, Network, Firewalls, etc.)
- Extensive experience and advanced knowledge with one or more hyperscale cloud providers - Google Cloud Platform,Azure
- Experience developing REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience coding with Cloud APIs and SDKs (preferably in python)
- Working knowledge of containers and Kubernetes orchestration
- Working knowledge of Devops toolset & practices ( CI/CD pipeline, Jenkins, Jira, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Agile and SDLC
- CICD Pipelines, Git, Terraform, Python, G Cloud – good to have.
- Cloud Certifications (Google Cloud Platform) a plus
- Working knowledge of infrastructure concepts and administration (Linux or Windows, DNS, Network, Firewalls, etc.)
