Job Posting for UX Designer at Purple, Rock, Scissors
Purple, Rock, Scissors is working with a well known, large tech client of ours to add a few UX Designers to a studio production team supporting various product initiatives 2024. The work is UX and marketing oriented. The current group is made up of multi-disciplinary teams of UX Designers, Researchers, Writers, Content Strategists, Program Managers, and Engineers: who all care deeply about the people who use their products. The day to day efforts will be focused on producing assets needed to support and promote various products and large events throughout the year. Assets include demos, videos, marketing materials, prototypes, etc.

Reports To:Client Team Lead inconjunction with PRPL POC
Responsibilities
Work in collaborative teams to design unique solutions for digital products
Work with partners to drive and own designs for visual language and design system
Work directly with Visual design leads to align and prioritize work
Drive design spec development and create production ready assets
Communicate the user experience to partners at various stages of the design process by making compelling designs and concepts
Clearly rationalize and justify design work, advocate for users’ needs
Work with the larger UX team to craft seamless and consistent experiences that can scale across the design system
Develop intimate knowledge of information design, including semantic information for the web, and user interface issues such as browser / platform constraints and capabilities
Create initial concepts, wireframes, functional design solutions, and mood boards
Refine existing designs to enhance and optimize the experience
Validate your decisions and push for the best user experience
Stay current with digital and industry trends
Qualifications
Min. 5 years of experience in product design or UX
Experience contributing to design systems including component design, documentation, and education
An online portfolio that demonstrates creatively strong, varied interactive work
Expert knowledge of design software and workflows, including Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
Strong grasp of user experience design, information architecture, and prototyping
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with or without supervision
