ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee day-to-day retail operations and staff and prioritize workflow and schedules
- Recruit, train, and supervise retail staff (sales and operations)
- Set sales targets and motivate staff to meet those goals
- Lead staff meetings to ensure all associates stay informed
- Manage store budgets and maintain financial records
- Oversee stock levels
- Address customer complaints and issues in a professional manner
- Handle staff conflicts, complaints, and problems
- Prepare various promotional materials and in-store displays
- Ensure compliance with various health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the head office to ensure store location lives up to standards
REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Excellent interpersonal communication capabilities
- Customer service-oriented attitude
- Confidence to lead and direct a team of associates
- Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively
- Strengths in leadership, management, team building, and problem solving
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and oftentimes high-pressure environment
- Numerical and analytical knowledge to properly manage cash and financial records
- Understanding of basic business management functions
- Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
- Minimum of high school diploma. Bachelor’s preferred
- 5 years of experience working in a retail environment, ideally in a supervisory role
- Proven competencies in effective communication and management
- Willingness to learn and tackle new challenges

- Excellent problem-solving abilities
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical Activities may occasionally include :
- ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like;
- moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments;
- communicating with others to exchange information.
Physical Activities may constantly include :
- remaining in a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods;
- moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another;
- adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions; In outlet or Hub locations the requirement is 80 pounds
- repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and / or fingers;
- operating machinery and / or power tools, depending on position;
- depending on position may include operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment;
- assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
Environmental Conditions may occasionally include :
low or high temperatures; or outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind.
Environmental Conditions may constantly include :
- noisy environments;
- or hazardous conditions.
