Your daily pursuit is providing our guests with the best and safest rafting experience possible!
What will you do in this job?:- Safely navigate oar/paddle rafts down Class I – III rivers
- Work positively with other team members to implement all aspects of a Glacier Raft Co trip in order to provide guests with a safe, meaningful, and memorable fishing experience
- Provide risk management capability in remote/backcountry settings
- Provide meaningful interpretation to our guests on natural and cultural history topics such as geology, flora and fauna, ecology, etc.
- Give effective and demonstrative safety talks
- Engage with our guests in a positive, friendly, and supportive manner
- Offers assistance to guests and teammates where needed
- Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties
- Previous whitewater guiding experience strongly preferred
- Completion of GRC 6-day guide school
- CPR & First Aid Certification or Advanced Medical Certification
- Be willing and able to work solo or as part of a team
- Be organized with a great eye for detail
- Be kind to others and always bring your best
- Be a good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutions
- Be helpful and friendly, willing to go the extra mile
- Be relaxed, flexible and able to handle a few curve balls
