Music Director

Status: Full Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt 
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision covered at 75% for employee and dependents, 403b retirement, and free childcare.
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday.

The Music Director is responsible for music directing at all Pursuit campuses and includes serving as the youth worship Pastor and leading Wednesday morning prayer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Music direction and participation at all Sunday services at all campuses.
  • Creation of click, tracks, and guides for all campuses.
  • Lead and manage Wednesday morning prayer.
  • Lead, manage, and develop the youth worship team volunteers and participate in Wednesday night youth group.
  • Recruit, develop, and train at least one volunteer a month.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Be committed to the local church and to its leadership.
  • Model a passionate pursuit of the presence of God.
  • Be well-educated in the Word of God and able to communicate with clarity and relevance.
  • Commit to praying, fasting, worshiping, and leading as a part of the pastoral team.
  • Adhere to the moral and spiritual qualifications for pastoral eldership as outlined in Titus 1:5-9, 1 Tim. 3:1-7, 1 Peter 5:1-4.
  • Be able to pass both local and federal background checks.
  • Be flexible to both take on new tasks and delegate old tasks as the church develops.
  • Follow all PURSUIT policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Professional-level skills and experience with people, business, and project management.
  • Strong organizational and training skills.
  • Entrepreneurial abilities, from big-picture strategy to operational details.
  • Ability to lead staff, recruit, develop, and inspire people, and set clear expectations and accountability.
