PuzzleHR is hiring a Paralegal on behalf of Baginski Brandt & Brandt.
PARALEGAL
Baginski Brandt & Brandt is a family law and civil law firm that started in 2000 as a solo practice by Arthur Brandt. Over the next 17 years, Mr. Brandt and Ms. Baginski developed their individual practices and merged in 2017 into the law office of Baginski Brandt & Brandt.

The Paralegal will work with our attorneys by providing clerical and research support to the cases they are handling to include document preparation, coordination, and review, trial preparation assistance, and other duties, as assigned. This role has moderate supervision as it relates to daily activities and work product production and prioritization. Focused work will be Family and Civil law.

What you’ll do:
- Meet with attorneys, clients, staff, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects
- Draft legal documents such as motions, notices, briefs, pleadings, appeals, wills, contracts, etc.
- Research and analyze statutes, regulations, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, legal codes, and other legal sources.
- Document and exhibit review and preparation
- Discern important details in client and opposing party documents
- Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case files
- Calendaring, scheduling meetings, and hearings
- Performs other related duties, as assigned, phone, greeting clients, etc.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and good judgment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Proficient with Adobe Software
- Two years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in family and civil law
