What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analytical Scientist position at PVD?
- Provide technical skill, analytical testing, and engineering support for design and development activities for various medical device products.
- Support current products in roles of quality, research & development, pilot-scale manufacturing, supply continuity, and cost improvement.
- Focus will be on in vitro testing using biological materials.
- An understanding / training in biology is a plus.
- Execute technical and cross-functional project work
Must haves:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM major (Examples: Chemistry, biology, microbiology, biotechnology, biomedical engineering).
- Experience / understanding of working in a lab.
- Experience with biological work preferred.
- Ability to write detailed technical protocols and reports.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong ability to learn
Job Type: Contract
Salary: Up to $24.00 per hour
