Pharmaceutical Vessel Engineering, Inc. (PVE, Inc.) is a dedicated code fabrication company formed in 2005 that specializes in custom components manufactured from stainless steel and nickel-based alloys for the pharmaceutical, power, automotive, and distillery industries. We have an immediate opportunity for a Powder Coat Painter. This person is responsible for maintaining the powder coat area and inventory. This is a cross functional position with the department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up and operate powder coat equipment.
Load parts onto powder coat racks.
Read work order instructions to correctly paint parts.
Make decisions and problem solve for routine manufacturing issues or seek assistance.
Inspect parts prior to coating to ensure quality standards.
Wipe down parts or grind down burrs.
Check inventory and consult supervisor when parts or powder needs ordered.
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
Powder Coating background preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Basic ability to read and interpret drawings and other shop drawing aids.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lift, carry, push and or pull 1 – 40 lbs. frequently.
Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently.
Sit, stand and walk for 1 – 10 hours per day.
Ability to work in a 55 – 88 degree Fahrenheit work environment.
