This role is responsible for leading technical development of the Master Data Management tool. This includes requirements gathering, monitoring / supporting releases & enhancements in the MDM system.
The role will support & drive the integration of MDM requirements with related systems such as BOS and Salesforce. The specialist will create, maintain, monitor & communicate release plans for system development work, monitor and lead the Business Acceptance Testing team with regards to releases.

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and / or a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing client needs :
- Managing product backlog items (PBIs) in line with agile methodology and in collaboration with the scrum team;
- Owning end-to-end responsibility for some features on the MDM product roadmap;
- Participating in the planning and prioritisation activities to develop and agree on requirements, program increments, sprint objectives, and release schedules;
- Capturing detailed requirements, developing data mapping and lineage documentation so they are technically ready to be communicated with architecture and development teams;
- Organizing workshops, working groups, communication and change management plans, design discussions and grooming of technical changes;
- Owning responsibility for the end-to-end management of the Global Controlled Vocabulary procedures for MDM including CV nominations, changes and withdrawals;
- Leading change processes around CVs and ensuring all connected teams in the ecosystem are consulted and well informed of the planned changes;
- Leading Business Acceptance Testing for Source MDM releases;
- Liaising with other testing leads in the ecosystem and ensure coordinated work and value delivery;
- Ensuring all risks, and updates have been addressed with the business to be mediated by the development teams;
- Coordinating, and communicating, roadmap priorities and ensuring timely delivery;
- Supporting integration with existing and new systems including CES, BOS, TDMS, Salesforce etc.; including major integration changes and incorporation of new / highly complex applications where necessary;
- Supporting the MDM Senior Manager with tasks such as, Resource Rate Manager version 2 (RRM v2), and ORD;
- Collaborating with and supporting the Onboarding and Operations teams as appropriate with MDM integrations;
- Ensuring major changes are flagged up and coordinated with other teams;
- Creating new and maintaining of existing documentation for priority tasks, developments and enhancements in compliance with ISO standards;
- Collaborating with data stewards / data managers to define and prioritize the Source MDM system development and creation of a consolidated document that lists all the business rules;
- Demonstrating an understanding of change management, document management and SLA management;
- Possessing a working knowledge with SQL query development and debugging, data modeling concepts, ETL design and development, methodologies, tools, processes and best practices;
- Possessing knowledge of technology platforms such as Synaptica, VSTS, SM9 etc.;
- Demonstrating experience in agile methodology, data analysis, data modeling, data integration, and data profiling;
- Communicating information about services to stakeholders across the network both verbally and in writing;
- Displaying the ability to diagnose and resolve basic MDM technical issues;
- Showcasing management skills, reporting skills, analytical skills and the ability to understand existing business processes;
- Possessing written and verbal communication skills as well as organization and management skills; and,
- Demonstrating the ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
