- Designing and implementing data & analytics capabilities needed to transform Pharma & Life Science (P&LS) commercial functions, including- CRM & Sales effectiveness, Marketing and Omni channel promotion, Market Access, Patient Services, Supply Chain Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, Clinical Development;
- Engaging/facilitating business process and data enablement discussions with stakeholders from Commercial Operations, Field Sales Effectiveness, Brand Marketing, Order Management, Supply & Demand Planning, Manufacturing Operations, Clinical Trial Management;
- Designing data architecture and implementing/ integrating D&A platforms, within the P&LS Commercial ecosystem, such as ERP (SAP S4, Oracle); CRM (Veeva, SFDC); Contracts & Pricing (Model N, SAP Vistex, Vendavo); Customer MDM (Reltio, Informatica, Veeva Network); Data warehousing and Reporting (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI etc.);
- Understanding and experience with modern cloud data warehouse and engineering for one or more of the following cloud providers - Azure (ADF, Synapse, Power BI), AWS (Glue, Redshift, Sagemaker), GCP (BigQuery, Vertex, Cognitive Services), Snowflake, Tableau;
- Providing thought leadership around healthcare cloud data management with understanding of solutions such as Azure ADLS 2.0 or AWS S3, creating analytics and insights solutions using Redshift, Azure SQL Pools, Snowflake, PySpark dataframes and/or equivalent technologies;
- Understanding of how advanced analytics solutions, AI/ML models, and operationalizing based on ML Ops process are leveraged and delivered in pharma, life sciences industry;
- Architecting and designing data implementation patterns and engineered solutions using native cloud capabilities that span data ingestion & integration (ingress and egress), data storage (raw & cleansed), data prep & processing, master & reference data management, data virtualization & semantic layer, data consumption & visualization;
- Understanding of cloud data solutions in the context of business applications, cost optimization, client’s strategic needs and future growth goals as it relates to becoming a ‘data driven’ organization;
- Guiding the application of leading practices in supporting high availability, scalable, process and storage intensive solutions architectures to data integration/migration, analytics and insights, AI and ML requirements;
- Understanding and familiarity with one or more is a big plus -CI/CD, cloud devops, containers (kubernetes/Docker, etc.), Python/PySpark/JavaScript;
- Understanding or knowledge in SQL, report generation using visualization tools such as Tableau/Power BI, programming using Python/Spark;
- Leading data warehouse team and leads in creation of cloud data warehouse plans, roadmap, success metrics, and assessment of client’s enterprise (on-premises and on-cloud) data systems;
- Guiding and reviewing detailed functional and technical specification documentation related to cloud data warehouse solution; and,
- Leading multiple engagements to design and develop cloud-based analytics solutions, modern data warehouse using data modeling techniques such as file based, normalized or denormalized, star schemas, schema on read, Vault data model, and graphs for mixed workloads, such as OLTP, OLAP, streaming using any formats (structured, semi-structured, unstructured).
