Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas: - Managing ongoing contract maintenance and contract renewals; - Serving as a resource to sourcing and negotiations business personnel with supplier catalog content issues and exception management; - Combining knowledge of business requirements and specific commodity specialization with understanding of electronic purchasing applications; - Documenting and revising workflow for business case scenarios so that the highest accuracy processing methods are employed; - Effectively managing the contract maintenance processes and systems so that agreements are modified and renewed in a consistent, audit-worthy means and with adequate time for renewal management; - Managing the supplier adoption process on behalf of internal clients and other areas in Finance including catalog management, transaction processing capability (B2B) and finance applications; - Identifying and implementing a quality process and plan to reduce paper and exception processing; - Coordinating with other groups as needed to resolve problems; - Facilitating the creation of an end-to-end process to reduce gaps in supplier invoicing, payment implementation and monitoring; and, - Performing the role of liaison between the Customer, Supplier, S and N and Payables to determine the best approach to invoicing and payment.
Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas: - Understanding key business and strategic priorities with oversight and management of a team providing contractual maintenance and renewals; - Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of the Firm's contract and procurement systems, business processes, and organizational structure; - Utilizing the cornerstone eProcurement software and related tools to develop a center of excellence for processing and renewals activity; and, - Creating a renewal calendar or similar tool to aid in the monitoring of expirations
